Since CE&G’s beginnings in 1993, the founding principals have been providing peer review services for municipalities in the greater Bay Area and Northern California areas. CE&G has recently expanded our peer review service with the addition of experienced plan check/municipal engineers and technicians. Their diverse experience in municipal engineering covers the gamut from preliminary meetings with potential developers to provide input on basic entitlement requirements, reviewing environmental documents, preparing conditions of approvals, ushering projects through Planning Commissions and City Councils, map and plan reviews, and consultation during construction.
In addition, some of our experts have been on the “other side of the fence” with expertise in subdivision design, commercial development design, utility design, roadway and bicycle facilities design including signing, striping, traffic signal, street lighting, and roundabout design. This design experience includes intricate knowledge of ADA and Title 24 requirement, clean water guidelines, and the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD).
