What We Do
Geotechnical Engineering
CE&G provides a full range of geotechnical consulting, design, testing and observation, and geo-construction management services focused on public infrastructure projects related to water, flood control, wastewater, and transportation.
Geo-Civil-Structural Design
CE&G has full in-house design capabilities that include preparation of ready-for-bidding plans, specifications, and estimates for retaining systems, ground improvement, road realignments, pavements, bridges, foundation stabilization, trenchless pipelines, seismic hazard mitigation and seismic retrofit, and storm drain improvements.
Geotechnical Construction Management
CE&G’s forte is infrastructure renewal projects that involve roadways, creeks, and waterways. We intentionally limit our construction management services to geotechnical-related projects because we strongly believe that our knowledge and background provide benefits that our clients cannot get from conventional construction management firms.
Water / Wastewater/Groundwater
At CE&G, we regularly partner with clients in the management, rehabilitation and improvement of water and wastewater systems. Our team of water experts bring decades of hands-on experience and services to meet our clients’ needs.
Transportation
Our transportation-related projects range from small, locally-funded road improvement projects such as pavement preservation, drainage improvements, and retaining wall repair to larger, federally-funded, multi-million-dollar road improvement and widening projects.
Municipal
Since CE&G’s beginnings in 1993, the founding principals have been providing peer review services for municipalities in the greater Bay Area and Northern California areas. CE&G has recently expanded our peer review service with the addition of experienced plan check/municipal engineers and technicians.
