We continuously update our technical capabilities with available digital technology and remote sensing and monitoring equipment and methods. CE&G maintains a robust UAS program and terrestrial LiDAR scanning equipment that are coordinated with our in-house GIS capabilities – CEgis. We have seven FAA certified UAS pilots in house.
We use our geotechnically-focused UAS, LiDAR, and GIS systems to support analysis, design, construction, and long-term monitoring. The majority of these projects are managed and implemented using our customized CEgis web portals. The portals allow clients to actively review and view UAS-derived photogrammetric three-dimensional models and GIS layers via the cloud. We use the portals extensively in our long-term monitoring programs and as part of our geoCMTM services to document construction and develop record drawings.
