Moraga - Commons Park Pedestrian Bridge

In 2005 CE&G designed and managed construction of a new 140 foot long pedestrian bridge across a tributary of Laguna Creek. The bridge provides access to a previously under-utilized portion of the Moraga Commons, the primary park for the town. The scope of our services included: completing a bridge siting and geotechnical investigation; coordinating with Town staff and permit agencies, preparing plans, specifications, and estimates; coordinating project bidding; reviewing project submittals; and providing construction observations and testing during construction of the abutments, site work, and installation of the bridge. The project was completed within the funding budget and on time.
